This sets the staples exactly as you want. Tight enough to pull taught when setting next staple with one 14/2 romex.
I don’t want to hear from the hero quoting the NEC and trying to say that the staple shouldn’t be tight enough to pull wire tight at next support point because every wire he’s ran looks awful and that method offers greater chance of damage to the cable than the way 99% of us do it. I have had to pull some of the staples out and inspected the romex and whether two wires or one there was no indication that the wire was staples. Clearly some sensor so accurate it stops at the mm where wire is tightly secure without indentation of jacket.
Can’t think of any tool that has improved work quality and efficiency as much as this and this comes from a guy who doesn’t do residential new construction.
If I anticipate having to put one staple in this tool comes with. Already paid for itself in a month just doing feeds in basements and small newly framed remodel walls. Time and effort saved using to wire two car garage was very impressive as is the thought of not subjecting my joints to anymore vibration from hammer.
Honestly if you do electrical for a living and don’t own this in the next few months I seriously have concerns about your mental aptitude as it’s the biggest no brainer ever.
Can’t find a negative review and I have not found a place where hammer would work that this didn’t
Just have to be careful when extending arm and using at angle as it can be easy to put one through the wire on accident when guide isn’t visible

The dewalt tends to be too lose for single cables horizontally but fine elsewhere. And would be nice to know if this one is the same or better since I use m12 and m18 batteries already.
