Extremely happy with it. Had it jam up maybe 6 times. I never try to use a pliers to remove the jam, just use the Allen key to open it up. And it seems that it had jammed right before the battery is fully depleted. Like it doesn’t have enough power to drive though dense wood so it doesn’t fully fire, so the nail gets stuck.

My primary function within the company is plumbing and bracing the walls. So not having a hose to drag around is fantastic! Saves time and headache of getting tangles or kinking the hose and losing air pressure when you need it, or having to constantly reroute. Now we can go anywhere.

By the end of a 8 hour day we will have put in our 3rd battery, but the company has lots of batteries on-site. So we just grab 2 extra at the beginning of the day. We run through about a box of nails in a day. At first I was surprised it couldn’t go longer on a single battery, but now it’s just a fact and we are prepared.

It is a bit on the heavy side compared to the pneumatic framers we have, but not having to deal with the hose makes up for it.

The short mag is too short. Can only hold one rack of nails and then basically you can’t reload until the last 2 nails are gone before the slide stop engages with the hose safety. Which is really frustrating, since you can’t just reload when you see that you are low you have to wait till empty basically. The short mag could be just a little longer. You couldn’t reload 2 full racks at the same point, but at least when you are low you could throw in one. Nothing worse the pulling a brace lever as hard as you can and then your apprentices gun being empty or only getting off one nail. I’m working on the company to buy me a longer mag.

Hi. I just bought one and have used it two days. The first day was hot for here in new Brunswick. The gun worked great for a while and then it and the 5 a battery started getting hot and flashing lights. I’m not a pro or even a highly skilled carpenter. I don’t think I was pushing this gun at all. It would fire 10 nails and quit. Any way we got thru the day by switching batteries out often because it was the batteries getting hot.
Second day ,today, only 20 c out, cloudy with a breeze . gun worked good for a while and then started shutting down. This time it was the gun that was hot .
So for a 750 $ nail gun , i would expect it to drive nails all day …any day. .
It would be a great nail gun for someone on welfare
No I don’t recommend this gun

Really? Dragging a hose is just as bad. Come on, go to the gym and lift some weights already.

For the most part they are great. However, they do tend to overheat and shut down with heavy use. We do a lot of fencing here in Georgia and the nailer is good for about 1000 nails before it starts giving us problems.

It claims 700 shots on a 5 ah battery
The Metabo does 400 on a 3 ah battery
750 on 6 ah battery.
I run the Metabo hpt multivolt system so I throw the multivolt batteries on which are essentially 8 ah batteries and I get well over 1200 shots with very little added weight.

The Metabo with 3.0 batter is actually 9.9 lbs

We haven’t had that happen with either of ours so far. We’ll keep an ear open for it, and let us know if anything changes on yours!

This sound is intermittent. My friend looked online about it and found a guy who returned his nailer 3 times because the driver was malfunctioning and making this sound and eventually stopped shooting the nails… This worries me.. My nailer still works but I’m afraid it may quit on me soon. Other than that, I love it.
