I paint professionally for a living, so I have a few spray rigs of my own….. I would have a hvlp sprayer but I don’t really do any cabinets unless things are so slow I have to…. That’s been awhile since I’ve even fooled with that headache… But I’ve been using Graco fflp and titan hea tips for a few years now and I honestly believe I could hook her up with my cheaper model Graco X5 I bought for emergency backup and have used maybe once , so it’s brand new , and put her a hea guage at the gun or pump to help her get the pressure set, and let her use one of my pro PC guns to get going… I don’t see why this wouldn’t work…. Especially with a 210 or 110 low pressure tip….I maybe wrong but I have seen the liquid an it’s thin…. I know the fflp and hea’s tips spit sometimes at the start and end of trigger pulls but that’s where she can pull before she passes by and let off after she’s past where she’s spraying. If she could do this for a few months I’m sure that the X5 is a better machine than what I had seen for $400.00 …. I will save with her and get her a real hvlp sprayer that will be bullet proof as long as she takes care of it …. But I really think with these new tips I could already have her an awesome set up to start with…. If I am missing something then please let me know…. I just know that with the right tips and pressure and experience that there is not alot that a airless sprayer can’t do if you know what your doing…. I got bigger contractor commercial grade sprayers but that little Lowe’s sprayer would be more suited for what she needs so I think if there is no hard evidence that will convince me otherwise then I will try to get her going with it… I mean it’s not like the 495 or even the 390 but it’s still a Graco…

You guys should do a comparison between the Graco and Wagner offerings you might find at HD and Lowes. Specifically the DIY sprayers that are handheld all in one units.
