Typo on the GREENWORKS PRO 60V vacuum: it’s not $129.99 — it’s $199.99 for the tool only. If you want the convenience of cordless, it will cost you an arm and a leg: $249.99 for the 60V battery + $49.99 to $119.99 for the charger.

Shop Vac, as a brand, has had such a rich history and really set the gold standard for wet/dry vacs. Honestly, we consider it a badge of honor that the Shop Vac name has become synonymous with these tools. (i.e. Kleenex/Xerox/Speed Square…) Now that the company is making tools again, we’d be excited to get some in for testing and review.

Unfortunately none of these are Shop-Vac’s – they are wet-dry vacs. I guess the one and only Shop-Vac is in its own class?

What about filter availability? I have a 20 old Shop Vac brand that any number of hardware/lumber yards carry replacement filters. No so about other brands.

Sorry about that—I just realized we left out a very important detail in the “How We Tested” section. Our water lift results are based on a 2-1/2″ diameter tube. We have not been able to find the tube diameter for “official” tests. Even though the results are different from what the manufacturer specifies, each vac we test uses the same 2-1/2″ rig.

Your review for Vacmaster VK811PH says 106 inches water lift. Both Amazon listing and Vacmaster web site say it's only 78, even lower than their "Beast"
