I have always factored cost in to what I expect from a tool and found kobalt to be a good value, and would put them at the top of homeowner/DIYer class. I own this tool, purchased the tool kit for $179.99 and it has exceeded my expectations by far. I use it a few times a week and it does what I need it to. If you need a cordless impact for all day every day use like in a tire shop I would recommend making the investment in a tool truck brand, but for light to moderate use this tool is a great buy.
