Hey Bruce, thanks for your question! On this unit we reviewed, there’s a 4mm hex key access underneath the macro adjustment screw that allows you to raise or lower the bit height when it’s attached to a Skil router table. Just like when you make macro or micro adjustments using the thumbwheels, you need to release the locking clamp to free it up for adjustments.

Hope this helps!

With this router is there an adjustment key for raising and lowering the bit in a table to change the bit? I have this router, and didn’t come with adjustment key. If so, what size key? On my unit there is a stop loaded to hold collet to put wrench on to change the bit. Does this feature stop bit from being raised and lowered also? Thx for your review. Bruce L

We enlarged ours to 1-1/2″ without a problem. It’s about 1-1/4″ to start, so a 1/2″ roundover will fit easily.

Is it possible to push a 1/2” roundover into the hole?
