A wise man once said, “One who believes he has achieved perfection has taken the first step toward mediocrity.” Okay, so that was really something I came up with when I was trying to impress a rather attractive philosophy major. Still, there is some truth to the statement implying that there is always room for improvement. This seems to have been taken to heart with the introduction of some new models in the Milwaukee M18 Compact drilling and fastening tools designed to improve on and replace older models. The M18 series will be gaining two new drills and four new impact drivers/wrenches.
The folks at Milwaukee tell us that these are the most compact tools in their respective classes, that the ergonomics have been improved, and they have the best-in-class power to weight ratios. All of the new tools include the RedLink Intelligence to provide overload protection and temperature management to maximize the lifespan. Let’s meet the new models that promise to improve on the previous generation. We reviewed several of the previous models and I’ve included a link for each one so that you can see the changes for yourself.
