The Ridgid R8609021B handheld vacuum uses a single 18V battery for power. We especially liked the 2-stage filtration system with a removable and washable filter. This vacuum comes with an extension wand so you don’t have to bend down or grab a ladder to clean hard-to-reach places.

If you want all-day use, you can plug it into an extension cord, too. Ridgid tells us it offers up to 670 CFM, which is 40% more power than their last hybrid jobsite fan.

You also have a generous rip capacity in both directions— 32 1/2 inches to the right and 22 inches to the left. With a gravity-rise stand included, you get the convenience of portability, too.

Where is the battery powered chainsaw. Rigid is way behind. Every major brand has one (Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ryobi, etc). Get your act together. I’m sure you have a team working on that. Kick them in the butt and tell them to move it.

I have a bunch of ridgid tools, I like them, but their new tools look super cheap, like something that you’d find in a fisher price tool box. terrible.

Reynold

Love ridgid

James Keith Voyles

Truly hope Ridgid comes out with a Octane framing nailer soon. That would really complete my work tool set for my occupation!

Jerry Fike

The 7/16 arbor size on the subcompact saw is a bit unusual. Home Depot doesn’t stock that size (I asked.)
