The green LED is not more powerful than the red one. The human eye is more sensitive to green light, because of its evolution along history. Look at a vertical section of the eye, and you’ll see that the green ‘pixels’ are much bigger than the red ones. So yes, you will see a green laser beam better than a red one.

Yes—that wavelength is easier for the human eye to pick up. It helps in brighter light—though it’s not a sure-fire fix for seeing it when in full sun.

Nope! Not after having bought all these M18 tools and batteries over the years. M12 is just a gimmick at this point.
Thanks for another excellent review, though, gents.

You get the hard storage case only if you buy them from certain power tool online sellers. Just look at all the complaints on the Milwaukee website under these lasers of tradesmen who didn’t get the hard case. The games Milwaukee plays…….

They do offer two lasers running of M12 in addition to the three USB lasers.

Unfortunately I did the same. Gotta see what one will do in the flesh (or is that plastic?) before I pay the inflated prices in Oz. My Bosch has a remote for fine vertical adjustment.

After have a quick look online this laser isn’t even available in Australia yet. As usual we will probably have to wait a minimum of 12 months. Gen 2 Brad nailers are still not here plus when products do come no resellers can discount any Milwaukee products as there is a single importer that sets the inflated price. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Now dewalt has it at 1/8 @ 30ft. How accurate are they over that in comparison?

Sounds like you might want to check out the new Empire lasers. They run off 4xAA batteries.

As innovative as Milwaukee is they couldn’t make it use M12 or M18 batteries without usb and adaptor? I’m not going to buy a M12 battery and charger just for a laser, and I can’t see using the adapter and cord in many situations.
